Subject: [ferrethealth] Incontinence in a young female ferret
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Ok, need a little help here. I have a little jill that is just over a
year old. She is constantly peeing in her sleep. This is not a genetic
problem as she was fine untill after we rectified her prolaspsed rectum
last year after she had been eating Innova EVO and got the runs realy
bad. She is fine when she is awake but we have figured out that she
urinates all over herself while she is sleeping. I have her on Amoxi
right now incase it is from an infection. We have already tried
Clavimox with no help in relieving the problem.
Does anyone on the board know of something I can use to control her
incontinence and what the dosage would be?
The only information I have found on this subject pertains to dogs and
cats.

Thanks, Debi
