Not the same thing but when my ferret broke his toe(it was a high break
almost at the "hand" part all my vet did was splint it and wrap it. he
checked and resplinted every week for 7 weeks. my vet is also a surgon and
is the vet that other vets send their animals to for broken bones. dont
know if this helps.
