When I got home, I put some in her eye and she went to curl up in her bed.
Thirty minutes later I heard her gagging and I couldn't believe what I was
seeing! She was vomiting blood and blood was coming out of her nose. She was limp,
arched backwards and I knew right then that I was loosing her. I was right, a
few seconds later she stopped breathing, she was gone!.
I am in total shock, I can't believe what had just happened and I need to
find out if the antibiotic could have caused this. It's a small 3.5g tube and it
says :Triple Antibiotic Ointment. Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and
Bacitracin Zinc Opthalmic Ointment USP.
Manufactured by Bausch&Lomb.
I am shaking all over, my Molly is gone because of me.

**No, she's not. I am sorry for your loss, and I understand that the sheer
coincidence of this happening at the time it did is making you feel that the
ointment caused this, but the previous history of the mass in the lung would
indicate (as do the signs, the bleeding and rapid death) that the lung mass
eroded a major blood vessel in the lungs. That ointment is quite safe and I have
used it in the past with no problems.

Molly died of complications of her cancer and a major bleed. Nothing you did
caused it to happen, nothing you could have done would have prevented it.**
