Subject: [ferrethealth] ferret with black mass on stomach

One of my friend's ferrets has a round mass on his stomach, about an
inch in diameter. It is near the skin and is hard to the touch,
though the rest of the stomach is normal. This ferret is also
severely adrenal, having lost nearly all of its hair and having the
pot belly. Any thoughts on what this could be? Debbie Whorley
