Hi Debbie,
Is the mass in the skin layer or below? Is it free moving or
attached? You can sometimes see and feel an enlarged spleen,
however, they usually look more blue than black, if that is what it
is.
This little ferret needs to see a vet. Please encourage your friend
to take it in for an exam, and maybe they will do something to help
the adrenal issue at the same time. Even Ferretonin may help with
the adrenal signs.
