Ok. The pred is prednisolone and the bottle says
5mg/ml. Bear gets 2.0 ml twice a day - about 12 hours
apart. It sounds like I need to change it up and give
him the pred 3 times a day - same overall dose. I
wonder why my vet would tell me every 12 hours if it
really should be given every 8-9. I also didn't know
that it is better to give food before the pred. Bear
has gotten the pred in the mornings all the time
without food. Poor little guy probably hates his
mommy! He had another mild episode last night but
came out of it pretty quickly. He seems to be having
them shortly after getting the pred. I'll try feeding
him first and then giving the pred starting today.
I feel like one minute he's fine and the next he's
not. I'm used to him being ok almost all of the time,
so I think I'm freaking out a little. I hope giving
the medicine 3 times a day versus 2 will help.
Thanks for the advice!
