Subject: [ferrethealth] New update and need help for friends ferret PLEASE, could really use vet input too
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

A new up date as of today with my friends ferret Gwyd. He has been on the
clavomox for almost 3 days now and surprisingly the knot on his face has
gone down some. He has a very healthy appetite but still has not re-gained
mobility in hind legs. He is able to pee with out help and the poos are
forming better.
What form of meds would be more successful in treating the insulinoma and
neurological disease?

With the ferret being weak and over 5 years of age would the risk of surgery
be high? I realize in some cases you do what you have to do. Gwyd is to go
back to the vet on Monday, and my friend is going to demand a blood work up,
hopefully it will give some direction on what is going on.
