Hi Michael,
I don't remember where it was, but I recall reading that common dental
treats for dogs/cats wont do jack for ferrets. Not to mention the
nutritional content. You are better off going with the meaty bones as
suggested. This past weekend I caught a discussion with Bob Church on
dental issues at the Buckeye Bash. His reccomendation was
Chewweasels, as it closely mimics the meaty bones. I believe they
also make them in sugar free if you are concerned about that. I have
read in Ferrets Mag that Foamy Fries are also beneficial.
Also make a routine habit of brushing her teeth at least once a week,
give her tone when you are done and she will learn not to fight you so
much.
