Subject: [ferrethealth] Mouth Ulcers in Ferret

Hello, this is a new one to me. I have a one year old male ferret
named Joey. After a few days of mouth grinding, and a rapid weight
loss we took him to the vet today and they ran blood and fecal, the
tests came back negative. However the vet did say that Joey has mouth
Ulcers, I was shocked!! this would explain why he isnt eating. Now I
was told the antibiotic should cure the ulcers. Has anyone every had a
ferret with mouth ulcers. I am really curious to hear more on this
subject.
