Subject: [ferrethealth] Worming ferrets
To: FHL <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

I was approached by somebody who is worried that her ferrets may have
worms and was asked what wormer to use... I thought Panacur/
Fenbendazole sounds like a good wormer but was wondering what dose to
give. Is 50 mg/kg right? Does it do roundworms and tapeworms? How
would you treat ferrets, i.e. just one dose, or one dose and then repeat
another dose in 2 weeks, or give one dose daily for 5 days? I have
searched the Internet and only found information regarding dogs, cats,
rabbits and big animals...
