Hi,
first I like to let you no that I am owned by 3
fuzzies. Two of which past away in May which leaves me
with 3 now. but my little guy he's a runt and hes very
tiny. one day I noticed that he wasnt eating or
drinking and his mouth smelled like pus. so I opened
his mouth and seen all these red sores, so I took him
to the vet and he examined his mouth and gave me
antibiotics. and what it was that he has a birth
deformity which his mouth doesnt open wide enough to
bite or chew his dry kibbled food. so what I do is
take some kibbled food in a bowl and soak it for 5
minutes in hot, hot water, then when I see that it is
softened enough that I can mush it with my fingers I
drain it out then fill the bowl with cold water and
drain it. and just repeat it like 4x's. now its easier
for him to eat, and I never had any more problems
since with sores coming back. so just check is eating
ways of how he chews his food...maybe it can be the
food to hard for him.....
