I was able to have Vivi seen at the emergency vet yesterday after I
posted. They admitted her and have her on an iv and are syringe
feeding her every 3 hours, as well as monitoring her glucose every 6
hours.
This evening she started eating on her own again. They are keeping
her tonight too. More details throughout.

Well, my sister wasn't feel too well for a few days and I never even
thought about it when she stopped by and held Vivi.

Yes, I snipped her nail to get it, which I've done many times before,
but realized after I posted that her nail split pretty badly this time
for some reason. They put surgical glue on it at the vets.

I want bloodwork done, which I've mentioned each time I call to check
on her, but they keep telling me that they can't get enough blood to
do more than a glucose test because she's too squirmy. There was also
mention of a Coagulation Time test when she was admitted, but they
didn't do that either.
The only new info I really have is that there was also blood in her
urine. So, they started her on an antibiotic as well as Pred because
of several low glucose readings (52 & 60). Her glucose has been
normal when they checked it today.
Other than that there have been no tests run to tell us much of anything.

There are no new bruises, but the one that was there isn't going away
either, they said. I'm really concerned about that.
Her status has pretty much remained the same since she's been there,
with the exception of her eating on her own tonight. I hope we see
some more positive things from her, and hopefully get to bring her
home soon.
