Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Question on blood test
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

So how do I know if Koda has/had Thromboses? Is there something in a
blood test that will show it? Or maybe an ultrasound?

I forgot to mention that when Koda got to Nevada and saw Dr Ross, Dr
Ross did an ultrasound and did see some enlarged lymphnodes and
something large in his spleen, he said it could be something or it
could be just a fatty deposit because it had the same texture as the
spleen. Dr Ross said, maybe after this is all over, doing a
exploratory surgery and take some biopsies, but right now I don't
want to anything drastic unless it's an emergency.

Koda is also grinding his teeth too, I suspect an ulcer. My vet here
said I can put him .03cc of Pepto bismo, so I am and it seems to
help some.

How do you test for Lymphoma? Is there a way to do it without
surgery? This isn't the first time I've heard mention that Koda
could have Lymphoma. I will have to research it and at least know
what the smyptoms are.

Thanks again,
Melanie*
