Subject: [ferrethealth] Koda (was Re: Question on blood test)
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

No, I haven't checked his glucose since we left the vets in Nevada,
but when I go in for the blood test here, I will. I am going to make
some type of a sling today. I'd like to make something that supports
his body, but have it so his legs are hanging through, but his head
is supported also. He likes to feel secure, so I need to make
something that slings around his body so he doesn't feel like he's
falling off. I'll get in the tub with him today also and work with
him too. We have a rice box, and I will try that too.
Thank you everyone for all your help, guidence and support.

stand in the shower with mine and let them feel the warm water. I would plug up the drain so that it would also fill the tub. I would kneel down and let them feel the water in the tub with the shower going and me holding them. I can then let them adjust and go to the point that they start being okay in the water. I always let them straddle my arm when they are learning so that they have a grasp on me. They don't seem to care if I am holding them, they just want to hold me.
