Jacci,

We've gone through this with three of our guys so far. Our vet generally tries to do the operation late AM or early PM then keeps them in his office until closing - we're allowed to visit after they've been awake a couple of hours. After closing they're transferred to a 24 hr office and kept until about 8 the next morning. Then we pick them up and go back to his office, he examines them then either keeps them awhile longer or sends them home. Within a week or so he sees them again for an exam and removes the stiches. We only any problems with one boy. He had some sort of strange reaction that never was figured out but he came through it. Once home keep them inactive as possiblel for at LEAST a week. Best of luck to you and the FBs.

Matt Claus
