Ringworm is VERY difficult to get rid of! Not only should you treat the
ferret, you need to laundry all bedding weekly with clorox as well as
wash down the cages, floor, walls and toys with a clorox solution. It
took us several months to finally rid ourselves of this nasty fungus.
The problem is, b/c it is a fungus, the spores can get everywhere.
There is also a anti-fungal shampoo that the vet can get for you that
will help a lot.
The ringworm is contagious to the other ferrets, however not all ferrets
will get it just like not all people do.
Good luck! Jane
