It should be fine, it's just a few days and that won't cause the long term issues associated with pred use. It is definitely a good idea to give with food. Are you sure about the dosages? .3 ml is not that much and certainly not more than a 1 milligram, if that's what the abbreviation is. :-) You should have received a dosing syringe marked in tenths. Anyway, even a few days at a higher dose should simply treat the symptoms without causing other issues, but do be sure you taper off as your vet suggested. :-)

dose is 2 times day. I think he said 0.3 Ml is equal to just over 1
mlgs. I had thought I heard anything over 1 mlg a day for a ferret is
bad. Just trying to check.
