First off, why are you force feeding, have you gone to the vet and why
are you having to force feed now?

Sorry for all the questions - but also if he/she won't eat you can
water down the baby food and use a large catheter, the vet will know
the right size, and tube feed if necessary. The vet will also be able
to show you how to do it properly, how far down the tube needs to go,
and also show you a trick to make sure the ferret does not bite the
tube (I use thicker catheters). You may also have to cut a bigger hole
at the end of the catheter. Large catheters make great tube feeding
tubes!!!

Of course this is after and only if all of the other suggestions do
not work that have been posted. I firmly believe in chicken baby food
Gerbers Stage 2. I have only had to tube feed 3 ferrets that I
remember, in my years of rescuing now.
