When my Suki was spayed at 8 mths and also had liver and
kidney biopsies she would not eat while separated (she had a
very long incision) from her cagemate Sugar, she looked
miserable. She would only take food if I offered it a piece at a
time in my fingers and then only a few pieces, the same with
soup I made.
After two days I put her back with Sugar and she began
eating normally at once and it was difficult to restrain her from
dancing all over the place.

Tony (not a vet), Sugar and Suki.
In memory of Sally and Sue.
