Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Lymph fluid in the abdomen
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

If I were you I would do an exploratory. This means she probably has
lymphoma. When we opened up my Frejya she had an inoperable tumor in
her abdomen inbetween her instestines, and her abdominal cavity was
filled with lymph fluid.

In the US at least with ferrets, lymph fluid is very common when you
have lymphoma tumors in the abdomen. Well, at least in all of my
ferrets who have ever had lymphoma, and going by what my recent
veterinarian has said.
