Dear Dr. Meesh

Thank you very much for your email and for very helpful information. I
am going to answer just below your question.

Leela is a "trash eater". I caught her several times eating socs, her
bed sheets, pullovers, is that possible the friction could cause a
wound and the leakage?

No or not that I know. She uses to climb our sofa/bed.When she wants
to go down, she most "throw" herself on the floor...:-) She does not
"land" very softly.

We were in holidays for 10 days (and as it seems the leakage started
during our absence). One of our ferret sitter has a child. Maybe the
child (2 year old) squeezed Leela...is that possible?

Is she displaying any

She never showed any symptoms except for the pear-belly shaped.
No breathing, coughing, no lack of apetite, lethargy
She plays a lot eats and drink well. However her stool was a bit thin.

According to the vet, blood levels, ultrasound, x-rays, are normal.
No enlarged lymph nodes. No heart problem.

What was the nature of the cells found in the lymph fluid
> that was removed?

I was only told that the milk white fluid comes from the lymph.

For about 10 day Leela was getting around 10grams a day. Since Friday
she has been medicating with diuretic, and she has lost 130grams.
(from 1110kg to 980kg)

She is still quite happy and playful.

I will pass by tomorrow at the clinic, pick up the exams, scan them
and post it here. I believe a picture says more than words.

Thank you so much for your kind attention and help.

Best wishes from Switzerland.
