Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferret Exposed to Puppy with Parvo

One of our members has a new puppy that has been playing with her
ferrets. The puppy has been diagnosed with Parvo. She asked if her
ferrets are in danger of getting Parvo from her puppy. Am I correct
that Parvo is usually species specific and her ferrets are not in
danger of getting Parvo from her puppy?
