I don't know about the current vaccines but from past
experience I know that at least one of the old types of
Canine Distemper vaccines could cause false positive
results of Parvo Virus tests in ferrets.
The related disease that ferrets get (which is a different
parvovirus than the one you are speaking about) is
Aleutian Disease.
Your question hasn't come up in a long while.
Dr. Bruce Williams is not only a vet but is a veterinary
pathologist and a ferret expert. Because these posts
are old I will give their ages in case anything has
changed. If it had changed I think the vet members
would have made sure that all knew about it, though.
Heck, we knew here about the new FIP-like disease
in ferrets before most vets knew.

in ferrets involved non-ADV infections.
