Ella, has a barium xray been tried? That will sometimes show up a blockage.
If you're going to try the pumpkin I would suggest canned without the spices.
I think most oils would work. I have used a small amount of vegetable oil and it gives diarrhea so would possibly clear a small blockage but it could also do damage. I would check with your vet first.
