Subject: [ferrethealth] Vets and others PLEASE look at these X-rays

I have had a very big problem arise in one of my dearest ferrets. She
is almost 7, adrenal and has a broken hip. My vet tries to help but he
is not a ferret vet. When we took x-rays to look at her limp we found
the hip as can be seen in these pictures. But his real concern is the
1 or 2 masses he sees. He says he can see something pushing her colon
and that is right near where her adrenal tumor may be. But he also see
a large mass filling her left body cavity. It' s so large it's
pushing all her inside to her right. He said he thought it might be
her spleen, but he was shocked at how big. I know from reading this
not uncommon in sick ferrets. But he doesn't see them a lot. My real
concern is that she has passed small amount of blood in her stool a few
times. I am afraid this is a sign that her adrenal tumor has penetrated
her colon.
I want to help her. I want to fix her leg. But I don't know if that
will be possible with these other problems.
I am not sure if these images are clear enough for any advise. But
please anything you can say. Ideas. I will be seeing specialist
Monday. Dr.X in MS.
