Deanna:
Based on what you have said, it seems that there is still a fair amount of room for increasing the dosages of the meds. But you should speak to your vet and get his/her approval before doing so. In the past, my vet had said that the maximum effective dosage of diazoxide is about 60 mg daily, but then again, our ferret that was getting it was smaller than your ferret. 60 mg daily, at the dosage you said you have, would be 0.6 ml daily, or 0.2 ml three times a day. As far as the pred, again, you must speak to your vet about increasing the daily dosage, but I believe that there is still a long way to go before you reach the maximum dosage. You could see dramatic results by a simple incremental increase in the Pred, given 3 times daily. Maybe one of the vets on this list can let us know what is the approximate daily dosage that would be considered a maximum for these two drugs.

Thank you so much for your reply. The Pred Gordy is getting is 5mg.
Gordy weight is 4.75 pounds. What other information do you need? The
L-Diazoxide is 100mg/ml.
Thank you again,
Dee
