Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Pred = swollen lymph nodes?

Pred does the OPPOSITE; it reduces lymph node size.
That could be fat, or the ferret may have a systemic
infection (which would increase node size and Pred
decreases the ability to fight off infections). Hopefully,
they won't get really large and hard as they do with
lymphoma, but DO ask the vet if the ferret should be
on antibiotics for a while to see what happens in case
there is an infection.
