Ferrets sleep 18-20 hours a day... yes they sleep alot. They need three to five hours of playtime daily. They probably will not stay active that whole time though. I let my ferrets out several times daily instead of all at once so they stay active. Baby ferrets especially sleep alot. how old is your ferret?
