Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Rabies vaccination reaction

Since I originally posted, Logan has been eating (both kibble and baby
food) and drinking well, and his stools are improving, so I'm thankful
for that. He still seems a little uncomfortable though - he's still
grinding his teeth (although less than before) and seems a little
restless (he keeps getting up and moving to a different sleep spot).
If the teeth grinding continues tomorrow I think I'll try some Pepcid,
at least until I can talk to the vet about it on Monday.

Here is something I've found odd - ever since he got home, my other
ferret, a 1.5 year old MF female, has been smelling him like crazy,
including his rear end, and grooming him a lot. This *only* started
when he got home. At first I just thought it was because he smelled
like the vet's office or something, but it's continued for eight hours
now, on and off. Should I be concerned about adrenal issues? If so,
with him or her? Or could she just be smelling some kind of change in
his body due to the reaction or treatments?
