Subject: [ferrethealth] ferret welfare

Ihave a 4 month old male ferret and the vet thinks it has a fracture
in one of the back legs what can i do to make him as comfortable as
possible he is having an x-ray in the morning but all our local vets
know nothing about ferrets they just want to put our baby to sleep
even thoe he does not seem in pain the leg is moving and he allows us
to touch it no problem he just wont put any weight on it we need some
advice please scott from glasgow
