Subject: [ferrethealth] Blue skin: Hair regrowing?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hi,

SHort background: My girl about 3 years old had an exploratory lap
to see if an ovarian remanent was the cause of ehr swollen vulva.
Nothing was found and her adrenals looed normal. This was about 8
months ago and she still hadn't grown back her hair from where it was
chaved for surgery. Recently she got a little infection causing somke
pus to form at the vulva so we took her in. The vet gave her a 2 week
course of baytril. Saturday was the end of the two weeks. We have
noticed some blue looking skin on her belly, that was still hairless.
A few days later there is now hair growing! Has anybody ever
experienced this before? SHould I take her back to the vet to see if
he will continue the antibiotic? She seems just as healthy and happy
as ever :) If anybody has any advice or explanation I would appreciate
it!

Thanks
Bethany
