A thank you to all that have answered my questions. But I have one
more. I would actually like for a vet or someone who knows for sure
to answer this for me so I can have my vet follow it. Levi has been
taking Prednisone for three months. Last month I upped his Prednisone
dosage of 5mg/ml @ .1ml [0.1 ml] once a day to TWICE a day. Like I said
previously-his blood glucose has dropped into the 30s now. Vet said
he is doing well because he has not lost any weight. He weighs
1400gms. What should he be getting and should I have the vet add in
the Diazoxide and at what dosage? Also, I would like to start giving
him the Prednisone 3x a day but I would not be able to keep exactly 8
hours in between. The best I could do would be 10pm, 8am, 3pm. and
that comes to 10hrs, 7hrs, 7hrs. Would that work or not??? I really
need an exact dosage answer because my vet is of no help. I have
even mentioned Dr.Bruce Williams in the past and she has never even
heard of him. Please help. I want to do whatever I can to have Levi
with me as long as possible. Thank you, Anita
