Subject: [ferrethealth] My ferret started drooling bad n went limp.... HELP ME PLEASE
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

i have one ferret his name is mike Alexander Richardson Higgins the
3rd JR. but its Fred for short and i have had him for over 5 years and
i took him out to play this morning and he was the normal hyper
playful fred and then i want to say bout 10 mins later he started
drooling really bad n was kinda limp and wasn't breathing the way he
normally does... i don't think he got into anything i had him on the
bed the whole time. my step father went to go put him back in his cage
when he noticed the way he was acting. im looking at him now (my step
father is holding him now) and he isn't drooling that i can tell, he
seems to be kind of more coherent then he was (like he is responding
to him name better) my step dad said he feels kinda hot an he isn't to
active an he is kinda twitching (but not a lot) and he wont give me
kisses or drink tea (which he loves) he did eat a little bit of food
and drink some cold water but not that much... i don't know what to do
if someone could help me out and tell me what this is from and tell me
how i can help him or anything i would really apperciate it a HELL OF
A LOT...... He is a little bit warm but i dont want to give him a
bath cuz i dont want to make this worse.... i dont know what to do all
i know is i dont want him to die on me i have had him since he was a
baby that fit in the palm of my hand..... HELP ME PLEASE AND THANK YOU
