Yes, we, too, are big fans of surgical glue to prevent stitch removal
since it so often works.

In this case, though -- and apologies for expressing myself badly
while tired -- nothing short of staples would have helped. The
tissue was very upset by the stitches and didn't stay intact. That
is also why the seroma began. She DOES have staples, too, this
time, and her records will show that her body did this. The poor
vets were very upset, but it wasn't their fault; this was just a quirk
of her little body.

So, we will be on at least a few more days of living in shifts, and
Monday will be especially crazy because our furnace will be
replaced then so warnings that I will be pretty blotto from loss of
sleep...
