To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I had had her completely separated from her brothers, even though
their balls haven't finished dropping yet. But now I'm letting them
have closely supervised playtimes together. The vulva started being
just a little visible a couple of weeks ago, but didn't get huge and
fragrant and weepy 'til about a week ago. Really it's fascinating. But
yes, she'll be kept seperate after for a bit, too.

I'm assuming she is not being kept with whole males? If she is, you
may want to separate her temporarily until she recovers from the spay
- less stress for her and the boys. Sounds like it just started, she
is not going to be anemic from being in heat for two weeks. I really
don't think there is any need to do anything now since the surgery
date is so close. :-)
