Subject: [ferrethealth] ferret having vomiting spells
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I have taken Jazzy in for many test and everything looked pretty good. She
is 5 years old now, she is confirmed adrenal, and does have a slightly
enlarged spleen. In the blood test the only thing off was her WBC was a
little low. My vet put her own amoxi drops for 14 days. I have been giving
her the laxatone since we are in shedding season. She may be adrenal but its
only her tail that is naked, so she is still shedding.
She has these vomit spells every once in a while, then she is right back to
eating and playing. Oh and now blockage was found.
I was wondering if this good be IBD or a gastroenteritis issue?

She eats good, plays, her poos look great, not small, no bugs in the poo (by
fecal test)
Any thoughts?
