Subject: [ferrethealth] post-surgery question
To: Ferret Health <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>
Hi all,
I have just another question regarding my River's upcoming surgery. He's freeroam, but he is in the ferret room at nite, with a cage in there but with the door always open. So he's not used to being confined to a cage. With his upcoming surgery, I'm wondering how I should limit his activity? Would he be ok to stay in his room (about a 12x12 room) and remove anything that he could climb on/in? Or would that give him too much space to walk around in? Should he be in a one story cage w/ pain meds that will keep him sleepy? I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone has on what they do for their free-roamers?
Thanks,
Andrea
