Sorry that I can't answer some of your questions, Uli, but there have been multiple studies
showing that giving melatonin tends to often not work after a while.
If Suprelorin depots were okayed here already I'd try that in the heartbeat if I were in your
shoes and the ferret could not have surgery. They do very well in studies and are very
affordable over the time of their duration (lower cost than Lupron depots).
