Subject: [ferrethealth] Whizbang's pathology results
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I thought that you might be interested in Whizbang's pathology
results. The skin tumor was just a mast cell one. The adrenal
only had hyperplasia.

Here is the unusual one: she had shown
no glucose problems unfasted but when fasted pre-op was
lower than she should have been so her pancreas was carefully
checked with one nodule found so a partial pancreatomy done.
It was NOT carcinoma. It was NOT lymphoma. It was NOT
insulinoma. It was just hyperplasia. The tumor was caught that
early! Cool and unusual, huh? I guess it speaks to the value of
in-house testing immediately pre-op when possible.

Whizzie is healing very well after her post-op seroma caused her
skin to lose integrity and the stitches to give out. I guess she will
always look a bit like someone who had liposuction from all the
omentum that was lost but it looks like the worst that will come of
that will be me being jealous of her lean abdomen.
