Just save yourself the time and effort and go get Advantage from your vet. Comb the fleas off, apply the Advantage, vacuum the house really well (throw out the bag immediately, sealed first) and and wash all their bedding. The fleas can't survive past a few seconds on the ferrets once they have Advantage on them, and they can't live on you, so they will all die shortly. Just really vacuum well to get rid of the eggs!! Expect to have to apply Advantage for at least 3 months in a row to be sure that any remaining eggs have hatched.
