While this may not be universally true, it has been my experience that non-ferret-farm ferrets (which most of mine are, including this one) tend to find blowing coat somewhat stressful, and may lose some weight around that time. And despite providing dark areas to sleep in, my ferrets don't always respond to the seasons in the traditional manner. But thanks for your comment.
