Subject: [ferrethealth] Blue Eyes -an indicator of an inbreed ferret?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
Well first -Hello to you all :) -from Denmark.
Lately we have heard rumours and discussed the posibillity, on one of
our fora's, -wether or not blue eyes in ferrets are an indicator of
inbreeding. -It is said that the source to this rumour is placed at
this site -but I have failed to find it.
Being a new user, it could might as well be my inadequate searching
skills who's to blame for the "missing link" -but we would be
thankful if you could be so helpful to shed some light on this
subjekt...
Are Blue eyed ferrets likely to be a product of inbreeding?
Is this a sure fact in every case?
and are there at this site a former discussion of this subjekt?
It would really be helpful, also seeing that doubt and disbeliefs
tend to make people prette upset, and develop into a hostile
position. And it would be a shame, should there be something true....-
or untrue.. in this case with the blue eyes :)
(i appologize deeply that my English may be both clumsy and
misspelled, -it's not used that often)
Sincerly Trine.
