Subject: [ferrethealth] baby food
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

When ferrets go through surgery they may prefer baby food over kibble
because it isn't gritty and it is much easier absorbed and easier to
eat when they are weak after surgery. We always feed baby food, with
access to kibble, after surgery.

I will thin the baby food down with water or pedialyte when someone
needs a monitored amount so that they still get to enjoy their baby
food.

My thoughts are life is short and they might as well enjoy it while they
are with me. I tend to be a bit atypical anyway.
