I've always had wonderful luck with Carnivore Care WHEN I make it fresh
(a little at a time for each feeding or each couple of feedings), serve it
slightly warm and use way more water than directed. After a few syringe
feedings, he should be happy to lick it off your finger. Good luck.

[Moderator's Note: FHL vets have asked us to always remind people that
syringe feeding poses a risk of inhalation and then aspiration pneumonia,
so anyone doing it should beforehand learn hands-on how to do it from
the vet or vet tech. Food can always be introduced at first by finger.]
