Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Lymphoma in eyes?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

It'ss my understanding that lymphoma can hit anywhere. I've never heard of it in the eyes,
but my Cookie (and a few others from past postings) have had lymphoma behind the eyes,
resulting in ssecondary glaucoma. In Cookie's case, the effect was different: the lymphoma
increased pressure so that her eyes swelled to the point where she couldn't completely
shut them before eventually rupturing. Point being, (a) lymphoma in that general area
does happen, and (b) a growing mass usually make the eye swell, so perhaps that's not
what happened this time (though there may be another explanation).
