Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferret choking

Just my 2 cents- I don't know what food the ferret was eating but what
Marshall food I use, mostly as a mix-in but straight for a few, I have
always found a lot of dusty bits at the bottom of the bag as it is very
friable. I put that in a colander to clean it off.
Also Marshall's is lower in fat (16%) than most others. It must be like
eating dry soda crackers without a glass of water handy. Maybe the
ferret had a mouthful of dust stuck in its throat.
