In relation to crosses with polecats:

Long ago (well over 20 years) we had a cross from a
fur farm who even had the exceedingly pronounced
eyebrows seen in half-crosses and quarter-crosses.
Think of Leonid Brezhnev for the eyebrows; in fact,
that was her name.

She was a one-person ferret and I was that person.
Anyone else, human or ferret, was bitten to the bone.
She was capable of doing real injury.

Our situation at the time was not such that we could
keep her and I have forever felt terrible about that.

Then again, I have heard of some crosses who were
darlings so I have no idea what the rates of problems
with polecat crosses are, and do not want to give the
false impression that I do.
