Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Drinking Urine

Hey, Suzette. I have heard that some ferrets just do and that it
doesn't mean anything in terms of illness. We noticed that some of the
Ohio rescue ferrets that arrived here were drinking their urine when
they peed on the floor. Prior to coming here they had wire cages and
all waste fell through. In the cages they had litter boxes and paper.
I wondered if it might be because they just didn't know what it was.
If I am wrong, I do hope the vets correct me.
