Brea.
There are leg veins in both the front and back legs that I use all the time to get blood if they are too wiggly for the jugular stick. I get plenty of blood for my vettest machine and it would certainly be enough for the glucose monitor.

some suggestions from the group... I did talk to him about using a
glucose monitor and stick to check blood... He personally usues this
for his own cat ...
