My name is Krisztina and I'm writing from Hungary.
One of my ferret was diagnosed as adrenal at age 4,5 (in autumn 2006). He w=
as one of those first ferrets, who was diagnosed as adrenal disease in Hung=
ary. Unfortunately he has right adrenal, so nobody dares to operate him:(. =
Then we have heard about Suprelorin (Peptech) implant and he had got it.

Because it is in hungarian language, I try to translate it.

I have a question about it. It is said that the validity of this implant is=
approximately 8 months - 1,5 years. The implant was put in approximately 1=
1 months ago.
Until now he had a nice coat, but 3-4 days ago Luigi started to drop his fu=
r.. as it could be spring.. and some very small fur has appeared under this=
coat. It is very strange, because there is winter now, and he is very play=
ful, vigorous instead of sleeping (my other ferrets are sleeeping and sleep=
ing and sleeping:). Until now he was a very calm, sleepy ferret...Does it m=
ean that this is the end of the validity of this implant?
I try to ask it, because nobody can tell that what is the sign of the expir=
ation of this implant....
